Freeman's Grill: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Comfort Food

Went here on our way to Charlotte and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a BLT while my daughter ordered nuggets and sweet potato fries. The food was delicious. We used the bathroom before getting back on the road. The woman's bathroom was clean and decorated very nicely. Although the hand towel dispenser was not working, there were paper towels on a table for drying your hands. The artwork was beautiful.

The food was phenomenal. Talk about some of the best soul food. The catfish sandwich was delicious and the hamburger was a new and decadent experience. I will go back anytime.

Homemade food, hand pattied hamburgers with all the fixings, toppings and both sweet potato and crinkle cut fries. Will not find this at no fast food place and less than $10

Hidden Gem!!! SO WORTH THE STOP... NC Route 211. Fresh, Fresh. Fresh!!! Prepared while you wait. Homemade cheeseburger like my Mom used to make...fresh iceberg lettuce...so delicious! Fully cooked. Next time...I'm trying the grits!

Stopped by on the way to Holden Beach. My husband got the catfish sandwich with a fried egg based on their recommendation & said it was delicious. I got the chili cheese fries. Very generous portion of crinkle fries that managed to be perfectly crisp on the outside even after being absolutely smothered in chili and cheese. There was an interesting sweetness to them as well, which I found enjoyable. My 4 year old got a cup of cookies and cream ice cream while we were waiting on our food, which was actually perfect, as he would have been climbing the walls otherwise after being in the car about 5 hours My older son got a grilled cheese that was gone in maybe 4 bites, per typical teen fashion. Drinks were bottled. Great food and warm hospitality. No frills, but we didn't need any. Definitely recommend of you're in the area and want something quick and tasty

Freeman's Grill is just an awesome little diner on the side of the road. The staff is polite, cheerful, professional, courteous, and has a very friendly disposition. The food is simple but out of this world as far as taste, flavor, and readiness. I highly suggest everyone stop by at least once.

This one one of those places you might just drive by if you're not from the area and don't know. But once you've been here once you'll be back again and again. The food is tremendous !!!!! But better is the owner and pastor Miss Ruth, whom i had the priviledge to get to meet yesterday. Her love and support for her community and the kids in it is on display, you just have to know the back story. The kind of place where you want to spend your money, because you know it is going to good people and a great cause. Wish I lived here to do more for her ministry and to eat here more often -lol. I had an amazing experience at Freeman's Grill! Stop in randomly after seeing it randomly open early one morning. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety, and you can tell they put care into every dish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming Mom and Pop atmosphere!"
